After her previous blunder of a mission wherein Sawyer encountered the Pluvian, Sawyer was finally back searching for the macguffin that the evil bad guys were trying to hide. This mission was of utmost importance, as it is imperative that no evil bad guys are in possession of any macguffins or macguffin accessories.

There had been reports of a certain plover who might be among the guards, but after her previous incident, she was not going to let herself get ambushed and pinched again. No way. Nu-uh.

Not a CHANCE.

Another fun commission from mcfan mcfan of his Pluvian getting grope-y with fem Sawyer. This whole idea came from a random thought that "mercy" sounds like "merci" which is obviously thanks in French. With McFan being French this idea only made too much sense so we built this comic page around it. The dialogue goes roughly like so:

Kharadra sees something she likes

Probably some hunky guy!

...What? Not ALL my female characters are lesbians!

Kharadra wasn't actually meant to be a purely grey birb. She had grey markings in the quest (which isn't generally in color), and it sort of crossed some wires in my brain when making the other image with her.

This image experimented with Overlay-shading, a method that could save a lot of time in future Slissa Quest chapters by combining multiple layers into one single layer for shading. It allows the shading to be more subtle, a perfect fit for outdoor segments.

The Dragon Romance world is fun because I can have my cake and eat it too. Most birds and lizards are flat-chested, as would make sense for anthropomorphic animals, but the world has magic, allowing for the existence of chesty lizards and birds (a guilty pleasure).

Because it's not the norm, it also has the bonus of giving me something fun to think about when developing a character. Why would this bird use magic to have breasts (and at such a large size!)? Ah, she runs a store about embracing visions of beauty that aren't 'normal' or 'standard'. There is more to it, perhaps, but that's for Dragon Romance to reveal~
