Megalosaurus

This was a piece that i finished some days ago, i was not sure if i was gonna submit it here but i changed my mind. It turned out pretty okay and it evokes that old paleoart feeling that i wanted to get to.

This dinosaur did not appear in any of the carnosaur movies, just the novel. So the design is not inspierd or based by any movie design. 

I dont know if i gonna do more of these at the moment since the motivation is gone as of now.

Here are five of the nine species that are featured in the Carnosaur novel. I have been struggling with the style i wanted to go with for weeks now, thats mixed with work and being a parent has simply led to fatigue for Carnosaur fanart. Hence why not all are featured here.

I havent read the novel myself yet so thats another reason i guess.But im pretty happy with how these turned out non the less. My personal faves are the Altispinax and Scolosaurus. So to be short: I dont have plans for more Carnosaur art at the moment since intrest for this theme has depleted simply.

Vengeance Served/Vengeful Sister

A personal “alt scene” of sorts I like to imagine for Dinosaur, where Neera gets truly angry after seeing the Carnotaurus kill Kron, and then she makes a move where she ends up spiking the carno in the eye and destroying it while she looks pissed off, as you can see here.
Sure it might be out of character but then again she didn’t have much screentime to begin with... she honestly deserves better.

Also I just love the idea of Angry Neera.
(I tried not to press too hard with my pencils this time around xP hopefully it doesn’t ruin the visibility of this)

Why Are You Running? (Dinoverse Art Contest)

Thank you Taliesaurus for the invite! Here is my entry to the Dinoverse Art contest, featuring Candayce Chambers! 

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Dinoverse, it’s a book series, the first one deals with four teenagers who find themselves in the untamed wilds of the Cretaceous, their minds trapped inside the bodies of dinosaurs! Here we see Candayce Chambers, high school  beauty queen, trapped in the body of a Leptoceratops, a diminutive Triceratops relative with a face only a mother would love. But good looks are the last thing on her mind as she’s being chased through the forest by a Tyrannosaurus rex (who just so happens to be only Mike Peterefsky the friendly football jock)!  I just couldn’t resist referencing that one meme!
