Day 29: Umibōzu Giant dark sea monks, Umibōzu are very large yokai known for destroying ships in stormy weather. Usually, their form is amorphous and unrecognizable. Oceanic sea monks, Umibōzu are huge yokai that can be seen on dark stormy nights at sea or from the shoreline. They happen to cause said stormy weather by appearing randomly on calm nights, usually doing this to destroy ships.
