Feliz día de los muertos!!!, art piece for Day of the Dead festivity, very happy how this came out to be :3 Hello y'all, it's been a while since i've done a Day of the Dead, 5 years to be exact, if you notice on the background, there's a small homeage of that drawing that I did all those years ago. it would also mark the date when I would have done my first art piece that I truly liked. I still love that old art piece even after all this time, I really did such a banger of a drawing that long ago. But anyways, this art piece took me quite a while to figure out, I had trouble figuring out parts on every step of the rendering process. Struggled with the face, the background (literally had to start over with the background twice), and also the color correction at the end with the colors of the character. It was such a pain, I also sacrificed too much of my social life to pull this one in time, guh!!! I also had planned on doing a second drawing for November 2nd, as the festivity goes past the first day, but I don't wanna sacrifice more of my social life to pull that off, made me feel bad due to me forcing me to neglect my boyfriend, so, y'all just get one piece and no more!!! :3 Had a lot of fun rendering this overall though, hopefully im able to bring 2 drawings for next years, tata furs!!!
