Hello again!
Firstly, I want to thank everyone who's been showing support across both here and e6; I never thought that this would have as much attention as it does, and the kind words I've been getting have given me a lot of motivation to work on it.
A good chunk of progress has been made over the last week and a half, and we're getting pretty close to the first area being released. Since the last devlog, the following has been added / finished:
-All screens in area 1 have been completed
-Animations for Boss 1 have been completed
-Endosoma mode has been implemented
-Training / Gallery mode has been implemented (seen in art)
-Harpy enemy has been completed
-Settings menu has been completed
-Files have been optimized for space (previously was using WAV files for audio, now using OGG)
-You can now jump on that one wolf's belly and get a response

What needs to be done before release:
- Boss code (specifically creating the health bar, linking it to a spawned enemy, and saving that that boss has been defeated)
- Boss respawn code (This should be very easy, considering that I save things by just using an array of strings as flags, so it would just remove the defeated string.)
- 'End For Now' screen
- Simplified RedSquirrel Enemy (Animations have been done for a while, but needs code for throwing and stunning with acorn projectiles. Version in 1st release will just have basic AI, the same as the wolf enemy)
- polish the early rooms
With a little luck, this should hopefully be done within a few days (I would say literally today, but holiday plans and all that), and I would probably say that it should be up before New Years if all goes smoothly.
I've been getting a lot of questions, so I'm going to try and give as much info as I can here without turning this thing into a whole ass manual. I also want to note that suggestions are appreciated. I'm not taking requests for enemies or anything like that, but it genuinely does help with brainstorming, and absolutely has already added a few details, namely the inclusion of endo mode (surprisingly easy addition) , and the jump interactions with the wolf from the incapacitated gif. Loose ideas for enemies are also good, and I'm probably going to have a forum for suggestions on the itch page once it releases.
THE SETTINGS / ANIMATIONS
-Actual game adjustment settings are just the volume levels: music, fx, and master. The game's size can be changed by dragging the window, and the game isn't really demanding enough to warrant graphics settings to any degree.
Content Settings
There are 5 categories for animation settings: Vore Types, Portrait, Digestion, Disposal, and Other.
Vore types includes: Oral, Anal, Unbirth, Cock, Breast, Niche (specifically notes tail, absorption and bladder; used for any very uncommon or one-off types ), and Non-Vore
Portrait includes: Mild Digestion (player will get slightly melty, and drips a bit. This is the setting that was used in the screen record test over on E6.), and Full Digestion (player completely turns into player-colored goo on digestion. )
Digestion includes: Sounds only, Visible Reduction, and Visible Dissolve (intended to be used with transparent enemies like slimes further down the road)
Disposal includes: Post-Vore animation master toggle, Cum, Milk, Slime, Egg, Waste, Urine, Transformation, and Possession. Most of these are unused right now.
Other includes: Sex-Focused (non vore animations that focus on sexual activity), Ferals (any animations that involve feral enemies), Ferals + Sex-Focused (non-vore Animations with ferals that involve sexual activity. Note that any and all feral enemies that may end up appearing are of human level intelligence, and I'm doubtful that this will even end up getting used in the first place.).
These settings are intended to be as broad as possible so that pretty much anything can be added and already have a good framework for filters.
INITIAL RELEASE SCALE
The initial upload will consist of the first area, The Overrun Prison, as well as the sandbox mode with everything unlocked. The length of the main game isn't massive right now since it's the tutorial area, and is pretty linear compared to how the rest of the game is supposed to be. Minus the boss, and absolutely speedrunning the whole thing without dying once took me about 4 minutes with full knowledge of where everything is, so maybe double that plus a little more for the boss.
The sandbox mode was a must for initial release, because two of the enemies I've made at this point aren't for the first area, but I wanted to make sure they were included. These are the Cervitaur, and Red Squirrel.

Going forward, each unique area is intended to have 3-4 unique enemies to that area as well as a few that can be placed wherever, like the Harpy and Cursebloom.
STORY STUFF
The story is pretty loose as of right now, just with the major story beats in place and the setting figured out. The game takes place in New Ibri, a modern fantasy setting. A curse has descended upon the land, causing a large portion of the population to become insatiably ravenous and physically altered. The main character was preemptively imprisoned along with many others, which is why the game starts in the depths of the jail.
The main character is Graphite, a rabbit with a natural resistance to the curse and wielder of soul magic. Their end goal is to put an end to the curse and restore the kingdom.
A couple of characters that I've already made outside of the game will appear as bosses, most of which I haven't made art for yet. This includes Azka, and Silverhorn the Ram Witch (who IMP is a minion to).
PLANNED MECHANICS THAT ARE NOT YET IMPLEMENTED
1. Money system - This isn't relevant right now because there's nothing to spend it on. Later down the line it can be used to upgrade certain abilities from certain NPCs
2. Mana system. - On top of the health gauge, the player will also have a soul energy gauge. This can be used to either power stronger attacks or to heal, similar to Pseudoregailia's heal system.
Enemies will give both money and energy on defeat, varying in quantity based on the enemy.
3. Abilities - The game wouldn't be a metroidvania without this. There are a number of abilities planned that are given after defeating a boss, a number of which can be upgraded by speaking to the uncursed version of the boss after defeating them. This includes your standard things like double jump, as well as things like an i-frame dash and heavy attack.
Development should actually be a lot easier after this point, since most of the more difficult code stuff will be done. Going forward it's a lot more art focus with occasional code for enemy behavior, which is much less stressful than things like saving or room switching.

Marley has been watching their friend Rachel swallow feral cats whole and wondered if they could attempt it!
Marley has never tried anything bigger than a small feral rabbit and wanted something more... filling. Today just so happens to be when Marley is cat-sitting their friend's cat named Tic-tac. Marley called Tic-tac over and picked them up off the ground. Tic-tac had no clue what was about to happen before it was too late. Marley opened their maw as wide as they could and shoved Tic-tac in it. Tic-Tac immediately hissed and began fighting back, wiggling and squirming as hard as he could to get out of Marley's maw. Remy the tail maw woke up from its nap and saw Marley was losing the fight with Tic-tac. To please its host, Remy the tailmaw gave the feral cat a nudge and pushed Tic-tac further in Marley's maw.
With half the body inside. The cat's lower body began to struggle even more. Tic-tac pushed off of the tailmaw and flung itself and Marley's head back. Little did Tic-tac know, this would hinder his escape... Gravity and strong throat muscles worked against Tic-tac and pulled him deeper down Marley's throat.
At this point, Tic-tac drained all his remaining strength and it became easier for Marley to swallow him. Once they squeezed Tic-tac's hips in, the legs were a breeze, slurping them up like noodles.
With a few strong
GULPS! Marley felt Tic-tac's body leave their maw and slowly sliding down their throat. Marley couldn't imagine how tight it must have been for him. One final swallow and Tic-tac drop down into Marley's stomach. They satisfyingly rubbed and patted their bulging belly and released a well-deserved BUUUUURRRRPPPP! Marley flopped back down onto the couch behind them and rubbed their belly, teasing the poor cat. Now all they have to do is digest their large meal. Marley was happy they decided to try something new and eat something bigger than the micors they're used to. Now all cats have to watch out for Marley because if their tailmaw won't get them. Marley can now.
Back on the inside, Marley's stomach was already beginning to work on Tic-tac. He could feel Marley's juices filling up the tight confines of their stomach feeling tingling around where the acid is rising. Every few seconds, loud gurgles and grumbles followed by strong pulses & squeezes crushed the poor cat. Tic-tac now belongs to Marley's stomach.

Here's a new animation with out new girl Chloé! Originally this thing was supposed to be just over a minute but I got pretty carried away, oh gosh!
This animation is a prequel for the much larger Encounter 3 animation to test the waters with the rig that Disregard made for Chloé and iron out some of its flaws. It's also my first animation that makes use of fully path-traced fur, which was insanely heavy to render, especially with Chloé's fur being rather short and mostly relying on glossiness. Oh well! It's a POV animation that mainly revolves around mawplay and object vore with emphasis on the more sensual aspects of the kink. It's a relatively short and simple plot that is also supposed to cross-transition into Encounter 3 with its outro. Here's hoping you enjoy this small... ish animation! :D

I've been quite for a while, so here's a look at Chloe's Tease, an upcoming animation! Originally this was supposed to be a short tease with a runtime over a minute, but I got carried away on this and now it's almost 4 minutes, whoops. <:
This animation is a short prequel to Encounter 3 and mainly focuses on sensual mawplay and object vore. The protagonist won’t get eaten in this, though he might get gobbled up in a later animation. Chloe is voiced by @thevoicevixxen who will likely keep voicing her going forward!
I’ve already posted a 3-minute preview for my patrons last month, who should get the full animation in mid-April. The public release will likely be early May!

I've been working on this girl for a while now, but she's finally ready to show! One of newcomers indeed, this is Dismay, and you'll surely see her around!
As her name implies, Dismay is a small creature of sheer chaos and mayhem. She is a shortstack demoness with no thoughts towards anyone, unless they show a good reason to stand out from the rest. Her mood depends on her hunger, most of the time she's calm as she minds her own business, but whenever someone picks up on her she won't hesitate to take care of them in any way she sees fit.
Dismay is a demoness who has been exiled from Hell, for the longest time she has been the most feared creature in that realm, and for good reason; she has singlehandedly eaten 95% of the total population of Demons and infernal creatures. The cuffs on her wrists show a successful attempt to partially contain her ravenous power before taking her to the new world she now lives in: Earth, and she is not allowed to ever return.
Dismay wanders around every corner of the world exploring but mostly searching creatures to eat. She visits cities and towns as they're full of humans and humanoid creatures, she is not exactly evil but she creates all sorts of havoc by following her desires akin or not to the overworld.
Design feats: Dismay is a red flat shortstack with big flat ears, she has two horns below them, her eyes and insides are shades of green.
The mark on her forehead represents her time preference which is night, this has little to no effect on her everyday, though.
The mark on her stomach was slowly developed the more she ate the demons, it's said the mark was a collective effort from the demon's essences to display a warning on this girl's affinity and it's danger.
Her clothing is nothing special, she just liked it, she has short jeans and pink panties, though she doesn't care about top wear.
Her cuffs were meant to obstruct her movement and diminish her hunger, she broke the chains either way, but it's effects still apply and thus, she's not as ravenous as she was in Hell, though she will still eat like there's no tomorrow.
Her collar is just a decoration lol.
She can swap between small fangs to sharp teeth because Yes.

Abilities and powers:
- She mainly has summoning powers, what does she summon? Nothing really, she can warp herself around with it.
- She can extend her tongue and use it to grab, stick, and even attack.
- She can breathe fire, yeah.
- She is capable of inhaling people and objects within a 50 ft radius.
- She has a lot of strength.
- It's unknown what can do actual damage to her, either way, she's just immortal.
- She's not the fastest, but she can give a chase when needed.
- She can levitate no matter her weight, which allows her to move even with a gut 200 times her size.
- She can hammerspace any of her insides: Mouth, Butt, Stomach, Bowels, etc.
Relationships:
Dismay is a new character story-wise for my other characters, but as for interactions this is how things went:
Sendok: She ate him. Dismay has no thoughts on him, but she was surprised to know he could just reappear even after being digested, she is impressed by his speed, though.
Celestra: She is the first creature that Dismay has seen eating people as well, that and her ice abilities made it clear for Dismay that Celestra is not in any menu.
Katie: Dismay has not met her directly, but she's not interested in knowing further as she can feel Katie is also a people eater, prefers to let her be.
Xein: She eats him, likes his taste. She is a bit moved by the fact he can understand her completely, therefore he's the only person she has positive thoughts for.
Natasha: Dismay knows Natasha's feats, big, fat, eats everything and has no remorse for the people she eats, it reminds Dismay of herself, she thinks Natasha is cool.
Luke: She thought he was just an overgrown human, and so she tried to eat him... It was a complete failure, she couldn't get half of his hand in, she kept a close eye on him after giving up on that, sooner than later she realized it was best to let him be.
Rev: Dismay got into a brawl with him in a night club, she absolutely beat the hell out of him and she had fun for once, she thinks of him like a toy: it's more fun to play with him than eating him.
Little facts:
- She's the only one of my characters so far that speaks in a completely unknown language.
- Her stomach works incredibly fast because it's so used to digest demons and overall creatures with fire influence.
- Some of the marks on her body can vary.
- Although she is flat, she is able to summon a good pair of boobas that are affected with gains too, thing is she finds them annoying to keep, that's why she prefers to stay flat.
- If she eats enough, she can slowly grow in size just so her gains don't make her immobile.
- She's actually very warm at all times, could easily steam off water.
- Not very related to her but in this setting, Hell rather than being a punishing place for people, it's actually just another world with actual civilization, think of it as an underworld.
