It's time for another visit from an old friend, who has brought along a new friend! But first, it's time for some lore to set everything up. Remember I recently adopted IAmPuma's friendly feline Jamila Chanthara. It turns out that her Creaturian anthro version owns and operates the Splendid Meadows Event Center, a facility in a suburb of Bonita Harbor that hosts weddings, parties and conventions. One night, ArtaShrike's cheerful chauffeur mouse Cloud Franklin was driving a lot of people to the center for a busy corporate party, and he was running in and out of the place throughout the festivities. Cloud worked so hard that as things wound down, Jamila rewarded him by inviting him to join the party and giving him a free meal. Jamila also extended the same favor to one of her best employees, an Italian wall lizard event planner named Brendan Garzone; they'd both done excellent work that night, and she made sure that Cloud and Brendan sat together. Was Jamila matchmaking? Had she noticed that the two of them had been looking each other over all evening? (Spoiler alert: Yes.) The two service professionals started talking, things went on from there, and next thing anyone knew they were in a relationship! Rumor has it that they're about to move in together! Maybe that's why Jamila smiles to herself whenever she sees them together. Previously on BFL's Fur Affinity Account, we established that I like paws. We also established that I'm friends with artashrike, and I'm a fan of his mouse chauffeur character Cloud Franklin . So what are the odds that I'd commission a foot-tastic pic featuring Cloud? Pretty good, considering that I've already done it! And now, since you can never get enough of a good thing, I've done it again! I even used the same artist, the ever-wonderful Jerberjer Jerberjer . This one is not only in color, but shows Cloud pumping his limousine's pedals as he drives another client around town. And like Cloud himself, you can always count on Jerberjer to do an excellent job!

Time for another extraordinary jerberjer jerberjer pic! So you've met Arta Shrike's handsome mouse chauffeur Cloud Franklin, his rockin' sister Estera Franklin, and her current band Six String Vendetta. Now let's go back to see the beginning of her first major band. Demolition Derby! was the group that not only launched Estera's career, but introduced Creaturia to a genuine hero. Estera was already playing with bassist Vin Socarras (desert cottontail rabbit) and drummer James Kennisey (fennec) when M.C. Goto (fox) arrived in Bonita Harbor. M.C. and her parents had emigrated from Shuto, Hinode (the Creaturian equivalent of Tokyo, Japan) for work, and also to escape memories of a traumatic family loss. M.C. was a talented guitarist, best known for playing with legendary noise rock band Purple Crawling Things, and she was already friends with Estera. The grungy new quartet came to be defined by the guitar battles between Estera and M.C. During an impromptu rehearsal in the Franklins' garage, the guest of the family poked his head in during one of these musical duels and said, "Is that supposed to be music? It sounds like a demolition derby!" Estera and company immediately realized that the guest had described their sound perfectly and thanked him for naming their band, much to his confusion. More lore for Demolition Derby! and Six-String Vendetta later. But for now: does M.C. look familiar? Maybe you recognize her feral self, catsnextdoor's Rania. Time for another excellent bassybefuddle pic feeturing those lovable Franklin siblings, Cloud the chauffeur and his sister Estera the indie rock veteran. Once again, it's commissioned by Cloud's creator, my internet buddy ArtaShrike, who also created the scenario and wrote the dialogue. This time, Cloud is giving his sister a free ride in his limo; Estera is grateful, but not above doing a little friendly foot teasing. Cloud, who once did a similar pose in a Jerberjer pic, is unfazed, because he's used to Estera's mischievous ways. As Arta told me on Discord (and gave me permission to quote here) "I'm really happy to have a pic of [Cloud and Estera] together. The uptight, orderly chauffeur and the free-spirited rebellious rock star - they have a good dynamic." And as I replied, "They're opposites, but they love each other and do nice things for each other."* I'm indebted to both Arta and Bassy for making this adorable pic happen. Thanks to both of you! Hoping to write some overdue lore for Estera and her bandmates in Six String Vendetta soon, among other ongoing projects. *Not that way, ya pervs! Get your minds out of the gutter.

Over the past year, I've become close online friends with Artashrike, creator of a varied cast of furry characters and a really nice guy. One of my favorite Arta creations is the motorist mouse you're looking at: Cloud Franklin, a charming chauffeur whose skill behind the wheel is equaled only by his excellent customer service. (Cloud is also the brother of my character Estera Franklin, leader of blues punk band Six String Vendetta.) Recently, I connected Arta with another of my furry friends: Jerberjer, an awesome artist I've been commissioning for years. Jerb streams black & white sketch commissions every Sunday (see his page for details), and yesterday I arranged for Arta to hire him to create this wonderful pic. During a break in his schedule, Cloud takes a moment to catch up on his reading (probably something like Car and Driver). As he does so, he unintentionally reminds us that his work outfit, as fancy and formal as it is, includes no footwear of any kind. (It's okay, going barefoot all the time is a furry thing.) Perceive his pedal-pumping paws! Jerberjer drew the pic, Arta commissioned it, and they both allowed me to post it here since I came up with the idea. I should also mention that Cloud was designed by another of my furry friends, Bassy Befuddle. --BFL
