At their Sanctuary
Centuries have passed ever since the day she first found Ryuu as a lost child upon the vast Scandinavian plains.
As he matured by her side, she has grown to adore him more than just her student and child. And he, too, had always loved her and looked up to her as his beloved matron.
When Ryuu reached adulthood, he ventured away from their roost to live his own life in Terra.
And now, after the many years apart, their feelings for one another have grown even stronger - now that they have rejoiced. Perhaps so much that it was no longer a secret to the others.
Their wedding ceremony was announced out of the blue after the Unification ceremony between the Japan and the people of Ryuu's homeworld, Chowa.
Quite a big surprise for both of them, but a pleasant one at that.
Since then, they have moved to Chowa and settled down in the quaint place Ryuu had witnessed in his visions from the canvas of memories.
And on a quiet day, the ice dragon decided to invite his betrothed to pose for another painting session, and the Aspect of Ice was just as eager to oblige.
It was also not the first time Auroth donned a traditional kimono. She had been exposed to the culture before in her search for Ryuu's origin as she raised the dragonling.
Times after times Ryuu had admitted to her of how he owed her everything, for saving him from the blizzard that might have claimed his life, for nurturing and caring for him as her own, and for loving him as a mate.
In some ways, her life has changed so much from when she shied away from the normal life of mortal-kind, and now that she finds herself sharing the happier days with the one she's loved and trusted for so long... perhaps she owed that to him as well.

At the roost of Winter
The ice caverns upon the throat of the world has always been the secret hideout of Auroth, a temporary place for her to recuperate after the many conventions with her Aspect brethren and her other subsidiaries - back when she used to dwell amongst mortalkind.
But for Ryuu, the steep mountain range of the Northern realm has always been their beloved homestead, at least for most of his youth - ever since the Ice goddess found him as a lost child, took him under her wings and raised him as her own.
Auroth has passed much knowledge onto Ryuu as he grew up by her side, among which was the affinity for reading, and painting.
Usually they would sit by the summit to get a good view of the landscape beneath as they spent the day illustrating the scenery to their leisure.
Though it would seem the younger ice dragon had a quite different idea in mind for this occasion.
And as flustered as she might have been, Auroth ultimately had no qualms against this peculiar request from Ryuu.
This was certainly a way for him to appreciate her beauty, and for that, perhaps she was pleased, or flattered, even.
